Problem at Durham University

on 11:30 PM comments (5)

You just have to see this, it`s the best memo ever, hehe. I have just received the picture by mail and I thought such a big problem like the one they have there in the UK at Durham University must be shared with the world, especially after the hi tech investigation going on there.
I'm still laughing.

Drunk Posting

on 3:43 AM comments (2)

I just came back from the club and I`m pretty drunk!
I just felt the need to post this:

Andain - You once told me

"You once told me
I will know it enough
oh let me tell you something
yeah I do
you once told me
I won't feel it enough
let me tell you that
baby I do

Sometimes I find myself in a sea
in a dream that's so far away
sometimes
Tell me what's happened to me
sometimes I see myself falling
although I don't show it much
sometimes I'm crazy for you
well maybe I'm fine
and tell me you're mine but
sometimes I find myself
in a Sea..
in a dream that's so far away
sometimes
tell me what's happened to me

Tell me baby can you hold me now
we don't have to say it I feel it too
and maybe I'm falling or maybe
but I am not showing it much
tell me baby
can you see me now
show me baby that I don't know how
how can I start to see inside the fall
but sometimes I find mysef in a sea
in a dream that's so far away
sometimes
tell me what's happened to me

In a sea, in a dream that's so far away
sometimes
tell me what's happened to me..."

the lyrics to a track that I`m listening right now!

Google China

on 1:13 AM comments (2)

I don`t know if you are aware of this but the internet in China is censored (don`t know how but it just is). Recently Google opened www.Google.cn and suprize - surprise:

Google - Google China

I find this upsetting on sooo many levels.

later edit:
I've researched a little and it seems that in the past china has blocked google completely and then allowed access again but blocked certain keywords, this was independent of google servers and was done by automatically disrupting the connection with google servers when a certain action was detected, at that time google was negotiating with Chinas officials, now it seems that google censors directly (maybe to make it easier for the Chinese servers that block the rest).
HUMAN RIGHTS people.....helllooo?!?!?! Anybody there?

The Song Tapper

on 10:09 PM comments (0)

I just know this has happened to you: A song is stuck into your mind, you like it, you sing it, you want to get it but you have NO idea who's song it is or what it's called.....Now stuff like that happens to me all the time (i like music very mutch) and I found that asking people around (trying to sing to them to see if they know it) doesn't help at all.
So this is what i've found: The Song Tapper - you just have to tap the beat of the song using the space key on your keyboard and it will search the database and tell you what song it is. Isn't that great ;)
The system isn't working perfectly yet but it usually gets it right so give it a try (you can also add songs to the database, you can teach it)

Thanks Guys

I didn't have a lot of time lately (lying, I'm just lazy as hell) so there is not mutch posting activity around here lately.
The thing is, I read the reviews for my blog on stumble and that gave me a boost. I wish comments like that would start o appear here also in the future. Now I`m just babbling (is that even a word?!?!) :)) I will just try to dig up some interesting stuff I`ve seen lately.... let`s see if I'll find something good enough to post.
See ya!

Too cute for work

The previous post ended up to be a sand one instead of an interesting/funny thing so searched for something more positive.
And here it is: Owen, is an one year old Hippo baby that was rescued by wildlife rangers after the floods in Kenya., the little fellow was adopted by Mzee (old man in Swahili), an 100 year old tortoise.
According to the staff at the Wildlife Sanctuary of Mombasa: "The hippo follows the tortoise around and licks his face."
How CUTE is that?!?! :)

Whale visits London

on 2:37 AM comments (0)

A seven-tonne whale was spotted in central London, "It is about 16-18ft long (5 meters), so is relatively mature. It is a very long way from home and we don't know why it has ended up here."

Over the years dolphins and seals have been seen in the Thames but never whales..... Maybee the whale wanted to pay a visit to the Prince of Whales :))

edit: just found out that the whale died, that's just sad :((

GeForce 7800 won't work

on 11:47 AM comments (1)

Of course it won't work, because you are STUPID that's why. It's absolutely incredible how stupid some people are. If you don't know what you are doing, ASK SOMEONE who knows! Trust me it's not that hard.

later edit: I've found the original Forum Thread for this one: Link

Give CDs - get an iPod

on 1:51 PM comments (0)

There is a company called Millennium Music, from Charleston US, that will trade your old CDs for a brand new iPod. Sound pretty cool to me and they sound legit. They have criterias for the CDs you send though. If you tought you are going to burn 45 cds you bought for 10$, send them and get a 99$ iPod Shuffle, you where wrong (it would be great if it worked that way).
So check it out and if you decide to try it drop a comment and tell us how it went.

Top of the line supercars crashed (some beyond recognition) it's actualy the ooops, autch, booom site. The first reaction is that you don't know if you want to cry or laugh. It seems that beeing rich does not improve your driving skils and it also doesent cure stupidity.

Pacman is always a favourite, this is as old school as it gets. This flash version is very similar to the original game so start munching.

Chroino Robot

on 1:38 PM comments (0)

This robot has something that apeals to me in a strange way, i think it's the Astro Boy comics because it seems that his creator Tomotaka Takahashi made it to resemble Astro Boy. this is just a prototype but it seems it will be mass produced (or almost).
Check out the site for more info and some cool vids of the little guy.
